We don't believe it can, which is why we developed the 4C Leadership Framework™
as a guide to understanding and acting on your own or your
organization's leadership development journey. Our perspective is that
while
some of the underlying competencies of true leadership can be taught,
other
elements can only be fully developed through a deliberate approach to
self-discovery and
constant real-world practice.
Our framework sees true leadership as being a balance between four core leadership attributes, what we call the "4Cs": Competence, Character, Conviction and Courage.
These attributes encompass many others, but by themselves provide a clear and
compelling basis from which to view the essential framework of effective
leadership, and to make meaningful strides in your own leadership
journey.
